Donkey Punch

*Donkey Punch* by John from Brass Monkey

 

35ml La Medida Espadin Mezcal

15ml Cherry liqueur

20ml fresh lime juice

5ml maraschino Liqueur

3 dashes cherry Bitters

3 dashes saline

 

Shaken and strained, topped with ginger beer and finished with an Islay spritz.

 

John took us on a journey with his cocktail, creatively telling the story of a hard working jimador who goes to the local for a pint after his hard day in the sun.

His excellent creativity showed in how each ingredient for the cocktail was an important part of the story
