Carefully handcrafted in Santa Catarina Minas, the Oaxacan municipality famed for its clay pot stills, Don Amado Mezcal is made by maestro mezcalero Germán Bonifacio Arellanes.
This wonderful Mezcal is made using the historic and ancestral method of slowly roasting fully-mature Espadín maguey hearts on firewood embers in earthen pits, before naturally fermentating the juices with airborne yeasts and a slow double-distillation in ceramic pot stills.
