A family owned Mexican distillery situated in the picturesque highlands of Jalisco, which is surrounded by fields of their very own Agave Azul. The Fonseca family has a long history of making Tequila that spans over 5 generations and their care and love for their product is as strong as ever.
By being able to grow, harvest, produce and bottle their work at La Tequilena Hacienda they ensure that their responsibility of guarding a tradition is not influenced in any way through modern and industrial technologies.
The family’s passion remains both in the fields and with each person who works to produce their Tequila. Their success is undoubtedly due to the family’s incredible product but also accentuated by their humble authenticity.
Over the many years of both supplying other Tequila producers with their estate grown agaves and of course producing their own, they have been able to accumulate many forms of tools and have a unique dual distillation process. Through blending batches of Tequila made with a copper pot still and another batch made with a column still they are able to adjust the flavour profiles of their own brand in a way that very few others can, always remaining true to the terroir and the natural essence of the maguey.
The Fonseca family is and always will be dedicated to producing the finest Tequila.
