Charanda is one of the oldest and most traditional spirits of the Purepecha culture from the mountainous region of Michoacan. Pure 100% Sugarcane that is grown and harvested at over 1,300 metres above sea level makes the liquid remarkably sweet. Post distillation the liquid is rested in oak for between 2 to 3 years where the flavours mellow and develop.
