Description
The name Camarena is legendary in tequila and are known for producing some of the finest products available, without cutting costs through modernization of their distilleries. G4 stands for 4 generations of tequila production which in itself brings with it expertise that is hard to match by modern and new brands.
Master distiller Felipe Camarena is proud to honour traditional methods of production as he uses traditional stone ovens, which, for better efficiency, cook the agaves from above and below, for 22 hours. The left over fibres or bagasse are used to fertilise their fields of agaves to reduce waste. He also uses copper stills and harvested rainwater in distillation.
