Produced in the forests of western Jalisco, by a family who has been creating this spirit for over 100 years.
A huge focus for the family is the sustainability of their product and wish to showcase that with 3 programs:
- Planta Una Raina – over 10,000 agaves are planted per year
- Sonrisas de Papel – leftover bagasse of the cooked agave are used to create agave paper in a small manual fabric, also creating jobs!
- Taberna La Reina – Through tours of their distillery their hope is to reach many people to show them the process and their ideals
