Description
When you taste this wonderful liquid the origin of its name will become clear: ‘Bruxo’ or ‘Brujo’ actually means wizard, meant to cast a spell on you! Truly delicious stuff!
Mezcales de Pechuga are traditionally made with the breast of an animal (normally turkey or chicken). Pechuga actually translates to ‘breast’. However, the Bruxo No. 2 is a vegetarian version of this mezcal style. This mezcal is steeped with the cooked agave hearts of the Espadin and Barril, which is part of the Karwinskii family and also known as Cuishe and both of these agaves are blended to create this ‘Elixir’.
Through this process the flavour of the Maguey is intensified and gives a rich colour to the liquid.
